Wednesday’s Weekly Wrap Up with JV and 7 (via Instagram live stream) covered the recent 6 game suspension of QB, Deshaun Watson. Somehow, and some way, Watson escaped any long term suspension which has fans wondering what really happened behind closed doors with the suspension. Regardless, this means that Cleveland will have a top 5 QB for 11 games in 2022, which is enough for Watson to provide relevance in the fantasy world. However, with Watson gone until week 6, how should we value this Browns offense on draft day?

Nick Chubb shouldn’t see much change in his ADP than prior to the Watson suspension. Chubb is a phenomenal back who will receive a solid workload especially in the absence of Watson for the first 6 weeks. The only red flag (which all fantasy owners are aware of) is the lack of production from Chubb in the pass game. In PPR formats, that will hold Chubb back from being a top 8 RB, but otherwise he is a reliable low value RB1. It’s also worth targeting Chubb’s handcuff, Kareem Hunt, who could easily finish as a top 30 RB and would immediately become a top 12 fantasy RB if Chubb were to miss time.

Cleveland’s newest weapon in Amari Cooper couldn’t have received better news this past Monday on the Watson suspension. Cooper will instantly begin climbing draft boards once again, but he’ll still be a risky play for the first 6 weeks of football. Cooper has the talent to finish inside the top 20 WR’s from weeks 7-18, but don’t expect that production while he has Brissett throwing him the rock. With that being said, value Cooper around the WR 25-30 in your draft and don’t hesitate to buy in at his ADP (if the Watson suspension is only 6 weeks by week 1).

Remember how highly valued the Browns offense was in fantasy just a few years ago? They’ve now replaced Baker with a top 5 QB, so in theory, we should all be spending on the Browns offense in 2022.
